A Kall8 hunt group rings a list of numbers, Kall8 Phone users or outside phones, either in a fixed order (follow me) or in rotation (call distribution) until the call is answered, with a greeting, hold audio, a time limit and an end-of-hunt destination. It costs $5 to set up and $5 a month for five numbers and is included in Team 3 and Team 5.
Follow me (linear)
Hunting always begins at the top of the list and runs down in order. One person with an office phone and a cell rings the desk first, then the cell. A team with a hierarchy gives specific people the first chance to answer with a guaranteed backup.
Call distribution (circular)
Hunting begins with the number after the one that answered the previous call, so calls are shared evenly: a sales team, a support rota, or several businesses sharing an advertising campaign. Works for remote teams on their cell phones anywhere.
